“When we learn how to become resilient, we learn how to embrace the beautifully broad spectrum of the human experience”. (Jaeda Dewaly)
I have always found my soul to be the resilient type that leans toward any situation with determination and that my path follows the footsteps of my purpose. This comfortability in my own space has propelled me into the enigma of nature and the crystal kingdom. This captivating realm has taught me that humility, patience and perseverance are essential qualities in not only discovering crystals but also in creating jewellery with them.
The marriage of crystals and silversmithing began to unfurl in 2016 when I decided to throw caution to the wind and pack up my quiet, small town life in Victoria and sail across the bass straits to Tasmania. There I was met with excitement, anxiety, inspiration and a new found vigor to explore an entirely different lifestyle. I spent 3 months adventuring, digging for crystals and living a life of being completely present in the moment. From there I was led down the rabbit hole of Australia's diverse landscapes, making new connections with like-minded people and creating art while traveling from the very south to nearly the most northern parts of far north Queensland.
After spending nearly a year on the road it was time to find a place of gravity, somewhere I could plant my feet while still having the freedom to head of on adventures should the urge arise (as it does so often). The vibrant rain forest feel of Cairns was the perfect place to call home, where I can explore the surrounding hills in search of crystals but most importantly where my love of hand crafting jewellery bloomed into Wildling Heart.
I look forward to connecting you with my crystal and jewellery jouorney.
